Criticism of the headings of stylistics courses in the curriculum of Afghan universities compared to Iranian universities

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: The current research has been carried out with a comparative approach and shows that despite updating the headings of stylistics courses in the curriculum in Afghan universities, this course does not meet the students" stylistic needs as it should and does not provide the students with the stylistic skills to identify styles. There are 4 units of stylistics in the curriculum of Afghan universities; But this lesson is implemented with a knowledge-oriented approach.
METHODOLOGY: This research was carried out with analytical-descriptive method and comparative approach.
FINDINGS: By completing this course, students can learn the characteristics of some general styles and the basics of stylistics; But in the transfer of stylistic skills, using style analysis software, stylistic research or developing professional skills for students, defining the sources of stylistic income, contemporary text stylistics, stylistics and computers, and stylistics in non-literary texts, there are many shortcomings.
CONCLUSION: The shortcomings in the stylistics courses of the curriculum of Afghan universities can be solved by providing a part of four units to create style in the fields of writing, speaking, digital content, advertisements, production and analysis and content editing. and analysis of qualitative statistics using software, the practice of recognizing the style of contemporary texts, the implementation of stylistics using the computer, the practice of recognizing the style of non-literary texts, etc.
